A sendoff party for Maryn Allred, Emery County’s Outstanding Teen, on Thursday evening at Emery High helped her prepare for state competition, which will take place Feb. 28 to March 1.

At the party, Allred performed her talent number playing a piano solo, “All Of Me.” She also demonstrated her fitness routine, her evening gown walk and practiced several on-stage questions. Explaining her platform “Kiss a Farmer” gave her the opportunity to show her passion for it.

Assisting with the program were Miss Emery County Brooklynn Potter and Miss Carbon County Gracie Steele. They both performed their talents as well as served as the masters of ceremonies for the evening. The first attendants of the outstanding teens from both Carbon and Emery, Brinlee Evans and Jordyn Wolford, respectively, also performed for the audience. Tatum Tatton, Junior Miss Carbon County and Baylor Smith, Mini Miss Emery, also danced between Allred’s numbers.

“Danielle Tuttle, Miss Emery County Director, and other board members have been very helpful in getting Miss Allred ready for the state competition,” it was shared before Tuttle was presented with a token of gratitude.
