Mitchell Faces Setback at Sand Hollow, Sits in Third in WORCS Series

Robbie Mitchell’s streak on the podium came to a halt last weekend after some bike issues on the track nearly forced a DNF, or did not finish, in Sand Hollow.

The Price native had a decent start, going into the off-road in third place. Then, Mitchell’s new stator gave out on the third lap, stopping him in his tracks. The rider got a helping hand to the pit, where he changed the stator before getting back on the track to avoid the DNF.

Despite the setback at the race, Mitchell still sits in third place in points in the WORCS Series. He will travel to Cedar City in May for the next round of the series.
