There was no shortage of politicians and candidates at the USU Eastern Jennifer Leavitt Student Center on Saturday as a multitude of community members, county seats and other guests gathered for the annual Carbon County Republican PartyLincoln Day Dinner. The event was an opportunity to hear from many, including special guests such as Mitt Romney.
A full dinner was served to all in attendance as they ate, learned and communicated. Multiple speakers and topics kept the night busy and attendees entertained. Local businessman Tony Basso spoke highly on the event and the meal.
“It was unbelievable how well attended the event was,” Basso said. “The facility and the food were fantastic.”
