The Mont Harmon Cheerleaders competed at the Utah State Cheer Competition at Salt Lake Community College on Saturday. Mont Harmon was the only middle school in the state that competed as the Lady Pirates took on six junior high teams. They had a great performance and placed fourth out of seven teams.
This is the fifth consecutive year that Mont Harmon has qualified for the state competition. Coaching staff shared that the team worked incredibly hard to prepare for the competition with practices every day of the week for months on top of their other responsibilities as a school cheer team.
Mont Harmon Cheer would like to give recognition to the amazing parents who have supported them from the beginning. They are just as dedicated to the success of the team as the cheerleaders are.
