Current fifth grade students from Carbon district schools visited Mont Harmon Junior High Wednesday evening to participate in a scavenger hunt. The activity gave students the opportunity to visit and navigate the school which will house 6-8 grade students beginning next school year.
During the event, students received a map, located various destination points and gathered stamps from teachers once a location was visited by the participant. By the end of the activity, the children had a good understanding of the school’s layout.
Current sixth grade students also had the opportunity to take part in a similar event Thursday evening.
