Local teams traveled to take part in the 2019 Utah Cheer Club Sport State Cheer Competition in Taylorsville on Saturday. The Mont Harmon Pirates competed in the junior high/middle school category.
The competition ran in two sessions. The first session included 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A schools as well and junior high/middle schools while the last session featured 5A and 6A teams.
The Pirates ended the day with a third place finish in show cheer.
