Each year Mont Harmon Junior High School’s National Junior Honor Society plans a service project. The aim of the project is to not only give back to the school, but also to the community.
This year the club’s service project covers both criteria.
The honor society began by volunteering its time at the Castle Valley Center throughout the month of April. On Monday students visited the school for the third time. They assisted teachers in classrooms with learning activities and observed lessons from an assortment of grade levels.
Members in the Mont Harmon club also helped clean the school. Trophy cases were emptied completely, dusted, and returned to their original shine.
Mont Harmon National Junior Honor Society will finish the school year by visiting Castle Valley Center again and with a closing ceremony.
