Emery running back Marco Mota scored four times and rushed for 243 yards in the Spartan’s 36-26 win over Canyon View Friday night.
Emery led 28-14 at halftime.
Emery will next take on Carbon (0-9, 0-4 3A North) Oct. 25 in Castle Dale to wrap up the regularl Season. The Spartans (3-6, 1-3 3A North) are currently tied with Union for the final playoff spot in 3A. Emery owns the tiebreaker with Union via its 41-21 win over the Cougars Sept. 27.
