The Black Sale is located within T16S, R5E Sec 7, 8, 9, 13, 14,15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 33, 34, 35, 36. T17S R5E, Sec 1, 2, 3, 4, and 12. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Sanpete Ranger District, Manti-La Sal NF, 540 North Main Street, Ephraim, Utah 84627 at 11:00 AM local time on 09/09/2019 for an estimated volume of 70211.32 CCF of Dead Engelmann Spruce and other sawtimber, and 42350.06 CCF of Dead Engelmann Spruce and other non-saw marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of DEAD TOPS pulpwood, and DEAD AND DOWN ES fuelwood that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Sanpete Ranger District, Manti-La Sal NF, 540 North Main Street, Ephraim UT 84627, 435-283- 4151.
