Nationally respected local preservationist and environmentalist to speak Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum classroom during a Castle Valley Archaeological Society meeting.

You have a special opportunity to share your thoughts while Nine Mile Canyon Coalition board member Dennis Willis shares the Coalition’s thoughts, updating you on activities in the canyon. Willis will speak about the massive road project and trucking in the canyon, debris flow, flooding, low water crossings, pipe line (crude oil) proposal as understood now, up-date on the drilling projects on the West Tavaputs Plateau, Coalition perspective on the Bureau of Land Management’s vibrant recreational scoping document and how you can effectively comment during public comment periods.
