The 38th Annual Canyonlands Half Marathon and five-mile run is in the books for another year. Nearly 4,000 runners completed their respective distances. It took 400 volunteers to put on the massive event.

Athletes from all over the country participated in the run. The half marathon started approximately 10 miles up the canyon along the Colorado River on State Road 128. The highway was closed to traffic and runners needed to be out of the canyon in under three hours. Both races finished at Swanny City Park in Moab.
