Price City officials recently announced that they are accepting letters of interest from members in the community that wish to serve on a brand new water resources committee.
This committee would evaluate not only the current, but also the future water needs of Price City as well as the city’s responsibility to provide reliable and safe supplies of water for citizens and businesses alike.
Responsibilities for committee members would include attending scheduled meetings, abiding by public meeting laws and advising Price City on water resource matters that are consistent with the purpose of the committee.
If an individual is interested in serving on the committee, their letters should include a statement of interest in service to the committee, complete individual contact information as well as any relevant information pertinent to training, background, interest, prior service and the like for public committees or water resource-based issues.
Letters will be accepted when sent to the attention of the Price City Recorder at P.O. Box 893, Price, UT 84501. These letters must clearly be marked “Water Resources Committee Letter of Interest.”
To be considered, the letter must be received on or before the close of business on Friday, March 29.
