Shelby Cornforth led all scorers with 11 points in Carbon’s thrashing of Region 12 foe Payson Tuesday night. The Lady Dinos doubled up the Lions 52-26 in both team’s region opener.
Eight other Lady Dinos notched points in the game. Katie Baysinger was the other lone player in double figures with 10.
Carbon has won six of its last seven games, overall.
The Lady Dinos will travel to Spanish Fork Friday for a matchup with the Lady Dons.
