Nine Pinnacle Canyon Academy Students Honored for Americanism

American Legion Auxiliary Price Unit 3 Americanism Chairman Nora Larson awarded nine students from Pinnacle Canyon Academy on May 21 for winning first, second and third in the Americanism Essay Program. They received ribbons, ALA certificates and Cold Stone Creamery ice cream certificates. The theme for the essays was “How can I show my pride in being an American?”

The winners of the essay competition were as follows:

Third grade: Syrmara Rudman, Dalton Peirce and Jonathan Kessler

Fourth grade: McQuire Kocks, Joseph Anderson and Bryan Sprague

Fifth grade: Angel Welch, Hadley Dunn and Brooklyn Wilde
