After scoring 24 runs on Tuesday, the Lady Dinos reached double digits again with a 15-6 win over Delta on Thursday as Carbon scored in every inning but the fifth.

Amya Prettyman led the team with four RBIs and hit two home runs in the contest while Kaytlyn Cripps and Clarissa Noyes each added a digger of their own.

Cripps pitched a complete game, going seven innings with seven strikeouts. She gave up six runs; however, all of them were unearned. Head coach Wade Williams was pleased with the amount of runs Carbon has drove in the last two games but conceded “that wasn’t the best pitcher we will see.” Surely, the competition will get stiffer as region play continues.

Carbon (9-3, 2-0 Region 14) will host Union (9-2, 3-0 Region 14) on Tuesday and then travel to Delta for a rematch against the Lady Rabbits (2-6, 0-4 Region 14).
