The Emery High Spartans were handed the first loss of their state tournament Thursday as they faced off against the North Sevier Wolves. Though hoping to continue their winning streak, the Spartans lost the match 5-10.
Emery’s baseball team will now face off against Grand County on Friday at 1:30 at Dixie State. Given the Spartans secure the victory and the two following, they will have a chance to play for the championship title.
