Before the holiday fun began, the Carbon County Commissioners hosted a specially scheduled meeting on Tuesday evening. During this meeting, Carbon County Personnel Director Rose Barnes announced the November employee of the month as her assistant, Kellie Payne.
Payne has been Barnes’ assistant for 1.5 years and Barnes reflected on her great sense of humor and how fun she is to be around. Furthermore, Barnes stated that Payne is outstanding with employees and that she truly appreciates all of the work that she does.
Barnes also expressed her gratitude toward Payne for thinking out of the box and bringing fresh eyes to the office. Payne is known to go out of her way to help any employee at any time. Barnes concluded by stating that she very much appreciates all that Payne does and she has a good future with Carbon County.
Commissioner Jake Mellor also stated that he is glad to have Payne with Barnes to take care of the county.
