The Helper American Legion team has scored a combined 50 runs in four games to begin its season that has resulted in a 4-0 record.
Helper used a dominant pitching performance from Anthony Maclean in game one on Wednesday against Roosevelt. The team exploded in the game with 18 runs in the 18-1 win.
Jayden Flemmett then picked up another win for Helper in the team’s 12-3 win to cap off the doubleheader.
Two more games against Roosevelt on Friday ended up in two Helper wins, a 10-8 affair in game one and a 10-0 thrashing in game two to run its record to 4-0 on the young season.
Helper will host Price American Legion for a doubleheader Monday in Helper. Games will begin at 6 p.m.
