Residents of Carbon County gathered throughout the weekend for a variety of Oktoberfest events. A two-day celebration took place at the Notre Dame Church on Carbon Avenue on Friday and Saturday. The Oktoberfest event hosted a raffle, games, kid’s activities and plenty of food.
On Saturday, Helper also joined in the October festivities on Main Street. Polka music, pumpkin decorating and a night light run/walk took place. The 5K race started at Gigliotti’s pond and ended on Helper’s Main Street.
