The Independent American Party hosted an open forum Saturday morning in the Helper City Council Chambers. The forum was arranged for concerned citizens in the Castle Country area that may have concerns and suggestions in regards to problems facing the county. It was also hosted to see if a third political party would benefit Carbon County.
Although there were few attendees, individuals voiced their concerns and gave suggestions in regards to not only politics but for solutions for the county.
After the forum, it was decided that a third party could indeed be a benefit to Carbon County but maybe not particularly the Independent American Party.
