The community gathered at the Price City Peace Gardens Thursday evening for another eventful night at Culture Connection. Price City Council member Kathy Hanna Smith welcomed the community and wanted to remind everyone of the upcoming Miners Memorial Dedication in the Peace Gardens Sept. 7.
The Peace Gardens was filled with music from Out the Back Door, a small, three-member band with big sounds. The band played a variety of country music including cowboy pop, old rock country, cowboy poetry, modern country and more. Backdoor members include Mike Schmitz, Steve Lasslo and Dave Hoffman.
Emery Telcom and the Price City Library were the title sponsors for the night. Big Moe’s Eatery provided food and has provided food at every Culture Connection event this year.
Next Thursday, the 2015 Culture Connection season finale will include performances from local artists and musicians called This Is Your Band.
