The Carbon High Football team secured another losing season Wednesday as the Spanish Fork Dons left Price with a 42-0 victory over the Dinos.
Carbon simply couldn’t get anything going, and Spanish Fork went into cruise control in the second half after putting up all 42 points in the first two quarters.
Carbon High head coach Jeff Blank said he would greatly miss his group of outgoing seniors.
“It’s a special group of seniors,” Blank said. “A lot of them have been with me since they were sophomores or since little league.”
Blank also said he was excited about the direction of the football program.
“We are capable of special things, but we do need to get into the weight room,” Blank said.
Carbon began what looked like a promising season with a 4-0 non-region record; however, the Dinos dropped all five Region 12 contests to close out the season.
The game was broadcast live on ETV Channel 10 and will continue to be rebroadcast.
