The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) advises motorists of plans to begin paving a new passing lane and turning lanes on state Route 10 south of Price beginning the week of July 25th.
The safety improvements are part of a larger roadway reconstruction project covering over four miles of the corridor. Night work has been scheduled to prevent traffic congestion while allowing construction workers to move quickly through residential areas.
Traffic restrictions will be in place immediately south of the Ridge Road intersection. Construction work is anticipated between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorists driving at night are urged to use caution while traveling through the work zone and to prepare for construction truck traffic and minor delays.
As construction approaches homes and businesses, residents will receive advanced notification of any driveway work directly from the contractor. The entire project is scheduled to be complete in September.
