Paleontology Conference Set

It was organized chaos as the Castle Valley Raptor Chapter of the Utah Friends of Paleontology got ready for the UFOP Annual Meeting in Price April 14, 15 and 16.

The UFOP Annual Meeting will be a statewide event that will include trips to the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry and San Rafael Swell. The event also hosts many speakers including Castle Valley resident “Dino” Don Burge.

The Raptor Chapter held elections once the meeting was called to order. Elected officials included President Ralph Escamilla, Treasurer David Cassidy, Secretary Casey Dooms, and Historian Barbara Warren. The Vice president position was left open.

Saturday, April 14, will be family day at the museum and will include a number of fun activities for children for all ages.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 10.
