Palisades Greens Prove Tough for Emery Boys’ Golf

The Emery Spartans boys’ golf team traveled to Manti on Wednesday. According to coach Kevin Reynolds, the Palisades greens proved tough for the Emery golfers, who finished the match second to last with a score of 370, just above South Sevier with 383.

Grand and Manti tied the match with the top score of 338. Emery Spartan Oakley Toomer played well once more with a score of 82 and Shaidyn Killpack and Logan Healey were not far behind, both scoring 93. Taylor Lindsey ended with 102, Devan Guymon, 103, Kavery Killpack, 108, Trevin Wakefield, 114, and Tayven Guymon, 120.

Sept. 13 will find the team traveling to Cove View for a match. As per usual, tee time is slated for 11 a.m.
