Panguitch Hands Pinnacle First Loss

Panthers-1-1.jpg

The Panthers exploded out of the gates and scored four runs only to give up three in the bottom half in their first loss of the season. The Panthers struggled to find some offense after that first inning, unlike the Bobcats that would go on to push 16 runners across. Pinnacle lost its first game of the season 16-6 at the hands of Panguitch.

Shayden Christensen led the Panthers at the plate, going 3-3 with a triple and two RBIs. Christian McLean struck out seven batters over four innings but the Bobcats put many balls in play to rack up 12 earned runs.

Pinnacle will try to bounce back when it plays Valley in Orderville on Friday.
