A 12-0 run to open up the second half propelled the Pinnacle Panthers to a 60-45 non-conference win over fellow 1A member Altamont on Tuesday night in Price.
Noah Mascarenas led the Panthers with 14 points, and Levi Rutherford poured in 12. Brandon Otto and Jonathon Giddings pitched in nine and seven points, respectively.
Leading by just six points at the half, the 12-0 run by Pinnacle put the game away.
Pinnacle (10-4, 3-1 Region 19) will travel to play Monticello (10-2, 4-0 Region 19) on Friday for a share of first place on the line. The Bucks beat the Panthers in Price 57-44 on Jan. 12.
