With the basketball season in full swing, the Pinnacle Panthers took part in a tournament in Manila over the weekend, returning home with a pair of losses to the host school.
Despite 12 points from Logan Ellington, the boys’ team couldn’t overcome slow second and third quarters in the 69-33 loss. Liam Bloomer nailed three threes in the game en route to nine points.
The Lady Panthers got down early and found themselves in a hole out of which they couldn’t climb. They ended up losing the game, 55-24. Stephanie Sasser led the team with eight points. Alexus Salazar chipped in six.
