Pinnacle and Panguitch met each other on the diamond on Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats brought two runs home in the first for the early lead. Pinnacle did manage to get one back in the bottom half to make it 2-1.

With the same score in the third inning, the Panthers plated the tying run to knot it up at two. It was all Bobcats from there on out as they scored 10 runs in the last four innings. Pinnacle did not have an answer offensively or defensively and fell 12-2.

The Panthers only managed three hits in the contest, two of which came off the bat of Mikey Vigil, who also had both RBIs for Pinnacle.

Pinnacle (3-11, 0-8 Region 19) will head to Green River (4-9, 2-5 Region 19) on Friday for the second installment of the rivalry game. The Pirates got the last laugh in the first meeting, winning 7-2 in Price.
