Castleview Hospital and Emery Medical Center are pleased to announce the return of Lowell Morris, PA-C to our community. Morris specializes in Family Medicine and will begin seeing patients upon his arrival on August 1, 2017, located at 90 W. Main Street in Castle Dale.

“We are thrilled to welcome back Morris to our community,” said Mark Holyoak Castleview Hospital CEO. “His experience, clinical knowledge and familiarity of our community provides a set of unique qualities that will serve our patients well.”

Morris attended Arizona School of Health Sciences, a division of Kirksville. He has also graduated from BYU in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine.

Morris specializes in Family Medicine as well as Internal Medicine, and will provide family medical care from geriatric care to pediatrics, diabetic management, urgent care needs, Occupational Health, Wilderness Medicine and will provide treatment for sport-related injuries.

“I am excited to return to the community that I love, and to serve the people within our area,” Morris said.

Lowell Morris spent several years of his childhood in Orangeville, Utah. He went on to study Athletic Training and Sports Medicine at BYU. After graduating, Morris worked as a Student Trainer for the Dallas Cowboys where he worked closely with a Physician Assistant. The PA scope of work resonated with Lowell as he saw what a great field it is to work in. After spending time with the Dallas Cowboys, Morris continued his education in order to serve as a Physician Assistant.

During his internship, a position opened at the Emery Medical Center. He knew first-hand Emery County is a terrific place to raise a family so he jumped at the opportunity to come back “home.” After having spent 13 years at EMC, an opportunity presented itself to work with his brother in law in Florida. The adage of “there’s no place like home” continued to be true, so after one year in Florida, Morris has now returned to the people and community he and his family love.
