The Pinnacle Panthers recently competed in a cross country region competition in Monticello. While each individual from the school did well, the boys’ team fared slightly better than the girls’.
Coming out in second place, the entire boys’ team is now qualified to compete in the state level competition. The girls’ team finished in third place, which does not qualify for state. However, there were two girls, Kaeley Taylor and Savana Dar, that successfully finished in the top ten and will be competing at state.
Taylor and Dart finished in fourth and fifth place with times of 24:023.69 and 24:22.34, respectively. State competition is slated for Wednesday and will take place in Salt Lake City.
