Pinnacle hosted Piute on Friday and the game was nearly over when it started. Piute scored 13 runs in the first inning and the Panthers were never able to close the gap. Piute went on to win 18-2.
Michael Schmitz went 2-2 with a run while Landen Hardy had the two RBIs for Pinnacle.
Next up, the Panthers will play at Bryce Valley on Wednesday.
