Students at Pinnacle Canyon Academy competed in a spell of on Feb. 12. The top three spellers along with two alternates will prepare for the Southeast Region Spelling Bee which will take place March 4 in Green River.
This year’s spelling champions are as follows:
First place: JR Jensen, 7th grade.
Second place: Karely Urrutia, 4th grade.
Third place: Maylee Gregersen, 5th grade.
Alternates: Chelsey Chambers, 6th grade and Marco Clegg, 7th grade.
