Press Release

Representatives of Pinnacle High School’s Project H.O.P.E. were invited to the state capitol to showcase their program at this year’s “Talent Ready Utah Launch and Grant” meeting.

This was an honor acknowledging the program’s student success based on the successful collaboration between the school, private industry, concurrent enrollment and other community resources.

Students interested in pursuing a health related career have been afforded the opportunity to attend classes at USU Eastern as well as the Department of Workforce Services, and completed two, six-week paid internships at various departments within Castleview Hospital, physicians offices, Urgent Care, local veterinarians and an extended care center.

Roberta Hardy, principal of Pinnacle High School, and Zena Robinson, Project Director, were accompanied by their community partners Ethan Migliori and Jamie Cano of USUE, and Mark Holyoak CEO of Castleview Hospital.

H.O.P.E. students that were able to attend include Abe Acosta, Sidney Dalebout, Yeraldy Bustillos, Karlee Cranford, Nikitta Cooke, Camryn Vigil, Mallory Taylor, Alyssa Cogswell, Hannah Stock, Brandon Huskett-Hyde and Josh Kerr.

Pinnacle High School is looking forward to expanding the program to include the freshmen and sophomore classes next year.
