Pirate’s Den in Green River Opening Again for the School Year

It’s coming upon a new school year so ye Pirates need to remember the Pirate’s Den! Come see us 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday night for “Monday Madness” and 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

It has been said that a snack and drink may be found along with foosball, air hockey, ping pong, play station, guitar hero and Monday night football or a movie, of course!

Teachers from the high school volunteer to help with homework if that suits your fancy or use one of the computers with internet to research assignments, stay in touch or game.

Come aboard and get involved with fun, safe and healthy activities. Also, in the slim event that you are awarded a “U” they will help you with that too!

Be aware that we’ll be making Pat and Kathy Brady walk the plank all the way to Lancaster, South Carolina to present at the National Convention for the Coalition for Healthy Youth. They will be presenting on creating and sustaining a coalition. This convention takes place August 6-8. This is great publicity for our city and state and of course ye Pirate’s Den!
