Tabiona rolled into Green River on six-game winning streak and swept Green River 10-2 and 8-4 to remain in Region 18.
Green River had some outstanding individual performances, but couldn’t overcome costly mistakes against the talented Tabiona side.
Justin Johnson hit two doubles and struck out 14 batters. Chance Pfander, Greg Johnson and Sadie Hansen also hit doubles for the Pirates.
Green River’s 16 errors in the two games proved to be too much to overcome against a team that has only lost one game all season.
The pair of losses dropped Green River to fourth place in Region 18.
Green River hosts Wendover in a double-header Friday.
