Pleasant Valley Days brought many from near and far over the weekend to the small town of Scofield. Booth vendors, food trucks and live entertainment were a big hit to attendees.
The annual parade began at 11 a.m. The theme for this year’s parade was “A Star-Spangled Fourth of July.” Floats from the DWR, ATV riding clubs and local cabin campsites showed off their patriotic themes, some equipped with water guns to cool off patrons. The Carbon High School band as well as the Payson High School Pipe band were highlights as they marched the streets of Scofield.
Events to entertain the public followed well into the afternoon, such as a kid’s scavenger hunt and a silent auction. Fireworks flew high in the sky that night to bring the festivities to a close with a bang.
