The Pinnacle Canyon Academy volleyball team traveled to Duchesne this weekend for a two-day tournament.
Although the majority of the team was suffering through a cold, they powered through six games throughout the tournament.
“We didn’t have a couple of our players and the entire team was sick with a cold,” head coach Heidi Kay explained. “The fact that we finished is a positive. As sick as they were, they were really working hard.”
The JV team will head to Blanding for a tournament this weekend. The Panthers will kick of their season at home on Sept. 12 against Navajo Mountain before taking on Monument Valley the following day.
