The Carbon MTB team descended on Richfield looking to improve their individual and team standings. It was a beautiful Saturday to ride bikes.
Starting off with our Jr. Devo riders, Max McCourt rode hard and showed well. Our freshman group was awesome. Trevor Worley was in the top four in the first lap but a calf muscle cramp on the second lap caused him to lose some ground. Colin Fausett and Nathan Engar continue to challenge each other as much as the other riders and Spencer Tullis wasn’t far behind, riding really strong. Our four JV riders really stepped up and rode well.
Dylan Emerson and Joey Barlow moved up in placement, riding really strong, both getting onto the podium as third and fifth. Sam Carpenter had a great two laps and finished seventh while Craig Olson placed first again and will continue to wear the leaders jersey.
Richfield was awesome. Our team of nine riders had three podiums and everyone improved from the first race.
Next up for the riders will be a race in Cedar City..
