Emery Telcom, Castle Country Radio, Sutherlands and Pierce Oil came together to bring the residents of local nursing homes Christmas cheer this holiday season.
For the past eight years, these companies have been bringing a poinsettia plant and a wish for a merry Christmas to nursing home residents. They began the program when they realized that 50% of the residents do not get a visit from friends or family during the holidays.
“I love this program. It is the highlight of my Christmas season,” Emery Telcom Marketing Manager Barbara Rasmussen said. “I love seeing the smiles on the people we visit.”
