Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect

Domonic Mathew Martinez was apprehended on Dec. 6 at approximately 4 p.m. in Salt Lake City. According to Price City Police, Martinez was arrested by members of the Joint Criminal Apprehension Team headed by the US Marshals.

Price City Detectives Sergeant Robb Radley and Chris Pugliese assisted in the arrest investigation which stemmed from an aggravated robbery on Nov. 26. Martinez was named the main suspect after evidence was collected at Smith’s Food and Drug following the robbery incident. A warrant was issued for Martinez by the Seventh District Court with bail set in the amount of $100,000.

Officials booked Martinez into the Salt Lake County Jail where he will remain as extradition is pending.

The suspect is originally from Murray but has resided in Price the past several months. He has been on the run since the Nov. robbery.
