Police Seek Culprit That Vandalized Miner’s Memorial

On February 27, Price City Police Officer Brandon Rigby was alerted by city Public Works employees that an act of vandalism had occurred to the Miner’s Memorial located at the southwest corner of the Price City Peace Gardens.

Upon investigation, Officer Rigby discovered that a portrait of Jesus Flores Lopez, honoring his memory, affixed to a marble bench, had been damaged, likely with a hammer like device. Subsequent investigation by Price City detectives has not turned up any viable forensic evidence.
