Utah Archaeology Week is now Archaeology and Preservation Month. The celebration honors Utah’s cultural past of archaeology and historic places throughout May 2015.
Who can participate? All residents of Utah (except state employees) are eligible to participate. It doesn’t matter what age you are, we want your entries!
I don’t draw. That’s okay! Entrants may choose any material, design or medium to originally depict Utah’s past cultures. Art may be inspired by the 2015 theme of Culture and Diversity in Utah.
What do I get if I win? Fame and cash!
Grand Prize
Best Elementary School Student
Best Secondary School Student
Best Adult
The winning poster will be professionally printed, distributed statewide and hung in the Rio Grande building.
