Carbon County resident Bart Sorenson appeared before Judge George Harmond in the 7th District Court on Monday morning. Sorenson, who appeared in court late last month, was formally charged with 40 counts of forcible sexual abuse occurring over a four-year period.
The 43-year old appeared with his attorney and a preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 16 at 9:00 a.m. Sorenson was also put on pre-trial services at the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office in preparation for the hearing.
