After suffering back-to-back losses, Price American Legion baseball looks to get back on the winning track. Price fell to Helper at home on July 2, 12-1.

Following the disappointing loss at home, Price faced West on the road July 3. The team found themselves down 4-0 after six innings. Two runs in the top of the seventh pushed Price closer to a win but not close enough. West defeated Price 4-2. Caden Sherman pitched the entire game for Price while Chris Smith hit a double during the road game.

Price will look to bounce back from last week’s losses as it plays a doubleheader at home Wednesday beginning at 3 p.m. The legion team will then travel to Colorado to compete in the Rangely Invitational July 12-14 and will square off against Westlake on July 15.
