Mere days before the upcoming elections, Helper and Price cities each announced that one of their contenders were taken off of the candidate list.

For Price City, Jared Chiara was sited as being non-eligible in being considered for a Price City Council position due to an unfortunate set of circumstances. It was also stated that the required financial campaign disclosure reports were not filed according to state campaign finance laws.

For Helper City, Nathan Behn was removed from the ballot for non-compliance of election campaign financial rule UCA 10-3208(3).

Votes for these individuals will not be counted, though the other candidates of the vote-by-mail ballots are eligible for election. Voters that have already cast their ballots are not able to re-cast a ballot.
