Press Release

The Utah Department of Transportation in conjunction with Price City has determined it will be necessary to close the Bridge on West 100 North for major rehabilitation. The bridge needs repair and work space is limited, so maintaining a lane open over the bridge is not a viable option. The closure is planned to be in place approximately 125 days.

A public open house will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Price City Hall, 185 East Main Street, to answer questions regarding construction of the project

As early as March 14, crews will begin preparations to close, remove and replace the large bridge deck on S.R. 55, also known as West 100 North. The road will be closed at the intersection of Main Street and West Price River Drive on the west side of the bridge, and at 100 West on the east side. All business accesses will remain open.

Detour signs will be in place during the closure. The included map shows recommended travel directions. Traffic headed to the center of Price from U.S. Highway 6 in both directions should use Exit 241 then travel north.
