Price City Council discusses water conservation and other routine business

It is widely known that water is in short supply this time of year. At this time, Price City Council requests that residents try to restrict water usage on Sundays. During this time, crews are working to refill tanks to be used for the week. The task would be made easier if the tanks are not being drained by resident usage.

The Price City Council also gave their individual reports on Tuesday night. Each councilman spoke of their excitement for International Days, which take place today and tomorrow. Councilman Wayne Clausing was the head of the event this year and is hoping it will be the best one yet.

Recent graduate Samantha Tatton approached the council for consideration of a scholarship. Tatton explained her plans to go to USU Eastern for an associate’s degree and then hopefully be admitted to the radiology program. She hopes to complete her education in Price and work at Castleview Hospital. The council agreed that Tatton was a great candidate for the scholarship and awarded her funds for furthering her education.
