The annual International Days celebration that takes place at the end of each summer generally draws much of the community. That much was able to be said about this year’s celebration, if not more.

During a recent meeting, the International Days Committee was informed that the event was one of the biggest that had taken place in recent memory. Clarification was given on this when the committee was then informed that there was a record number of parade and car show entries, a record number of vendors and a great deal of community participation in the events.

Price City Council member Terry Willis acted as the chairperson for the celebration. To thank her for all of her hard work and making the celebration such a success this year, Willis was presented with a certificate of appreciation.

“Thanks Terry, for doing a wonderful job,” a representative of Price City stated on their Facebook page.

While receiving praise on her hard work, Willis took the time to state that she could not have done it by herself and thanked those involved.

“I give all the credit to the great International Days Committee and Price City employees who did all the hard work,” Willis posted on Facebook.
