Members of the community, both business and residential, were recognized by the Price City Progress Committee by receiving the Hocus Pocus award this year for their show of Halloween festivity. The committee met and picked the best-decorated places in town. Criteria for the awards were based on creativity, orderly and festive. The decorations could also include lights or no lights.

One business and four residential homes were recognized. United Way had a fantastic display of hay bales and pumpkins in front of their business. The winning residents were Tim and Linda Turner, Erika, Elisabeth and Zack Ahlheim, Mark Madsen, and Shirley Stubbs. The plaques were awarded to each household by Kathy Hanna-Smith and Terry Willis. The Price City Community Progress and Price City wanted to show appreciation for responsible and prideful citizens and businesses of Price City.
